It looks like March will be a good month of painting for me. I've got all my rifle platoons painted and as a side project, I've started on a custom objective marker.
A captured German 8.8cm FlaK36.
I painted the gun to match the setting I'm going for, which is the summer of 1943 in Sicily during operation husky. It's painted with Italian/German colours that were used during that time period in Italy and north Africa. I also did a bit of weathering to the gun so that I looked like it's been in use for a while.
It's still a work in progress, but so far I'm very happy with how it's going.
