Bagpiper was just calling...

This guy was alot of fun to paint.  I did some research, and it's pretty hard to see colour in black and white photos, but with a little digging and the help of a couple of wikis and some dedicated web sites.


I painted a Seaforth Highlander of Canada bag piping soldier.

The Seaforth Highlanders participated in the Canadian Second Infantry Brigade during Operation Husky.

The Mackenzie tartan, is the official tartan of the Seaforths, and I really wanted to paint something that would stand out. Blue, Green, Red and White
